Critical Thinking Skills In Evaluations

This week, please research evidence-based teaching practices and incorporate what you find into a presentation discussing how you can best incorporate the development of critical thinking/clinical reasoning skills into evaluation. Please discuss formative evaluation (in both the didactic and clinical settings) and summative evaluation (in written exams and clinical evaluations). You may find valuable information in articles that discuss preparing students for the Next Gen NCLEX. Please make your presentation a video or a voice-over Powerpoint that lasts about 4-5 minutes and shows examples of what you are suggesting. Feel free to be creative and engaging and try to incorporate as many of the concepts you learned in this course as possible.
